Arts Council England's Artsmark award celebrates schools that champion the arts and strive for excellence in their provision. Any educational setting can apply for Artsmark. Find out more about how Artsmark works.
Arts Award is a range of unique qualifications for young people up to the age of 25 to support them to grow as artists and arts leaders.
You do not have to offer Arts Award to gain Artsmark, however Artsmark would expect schools aiming for Platinum level to be offering Arts Award to their pupils.
Offering Arts Award is one way your school can evidence your wider, ongoing commitment to the arts in the curriculum, as well as celebrating and recognising the broad range of extra-curricular arts activities you may be offering – all of which will help your Artsmark application.
