Online Arts Award adviser training is for anyone who wants to guide children or young people through any level of Arts Award. There are three different online courses:
… each comprising an interactive webinar and two independent learning tasks.
Specialised adviser training courses are also on offer for anyone who wants to deliver Arts Award to children or young people who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Whichever course you choose, you'll start your online training by completing the 'Introduction to Arts Award' module in your own time (you must do this at least five days before your course webinar or we will need to reschedule your webinar booking for a later date). You also need to read the Arts Award adviser Toolkit for your chosen level(s) – we will let you know which sections to focus on when we email it to you, once your booking is confirmed.
You'll then join an expert trainer and other aspiring Arts Award advisers in a live webinar – three hours for Arts Award Discover & Explore and Gold training, and four hours for Arts Award Bronze and Silver. After the webinar you'll finish the training by completing the 'Planning and support' module in your own time.
