Each level of Arts Award has a set of requirements and assessment criteria which young people need to demonstrate through portfolios. As an adviser your role is to support them through this process and assess their evidence to ensure that the requirements for that level are met.
To help determine the appropriate level for any young people you work with, we’ve produced Arts Award levels at a glance, a resource which compares what’s expected of young people at each level.
We also have full qualification specifications available which list the evidence requirements and estimated time needed to complete each level. You can download these, and a combined specification covering all levels, at www.artsaward.org.uk/qualification.
Once you’ve decided which level to deliver, you need to train as an adviser at that level. To search for a course and book a place, head over to www.artsaward.org.uk/training.
