St Mary's Primary School offers Arts Award Explore to nine to 11 year olds through a weekly art club run by teacher and Arts Award adviser, Helen Seed. In the autumn term, Arts Award Discover is being offered to Key Stage 1 children through a project called 'Lullaby' with the City of London Sinfonia.
Students at Carre's Grammar School used the First World War centenary commemorations as inspiration for their Bronze Arts Awards, including Paul Cummins' cermaic poppies installation at the Tower of London, Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red, and Michael Morpurgo's The Butterfly Lion. They work closely with local primary schools to incorporate them into Arts Award events and activities.
