Moderation minimum fees

The 2010 basic moderation costs per young person are:

Bronze - £16
Silver - £19
Gold - £31
(For 50 or more from one centre -  Bronze - £13; Silver - £16; Gold – N/A)

Your moderation booking must meet the minimum fee level, as follows.  Minimum fee levels can be reached through any combination of award levels in one booking.

 

Standard moderation

There is a minimum fee of £320 for a standard moderation. 

 

Public moderation
The minimum fee for each centre attending a public moderation is £90.  In order for the moderation to go ahead, the overall minimum fee of £320 must be reached together by all centres sharing the moderation. 

If we need to cancel a public moderation due to too few bookings, we will advise you in plenty of time and suggest alternative options.

 

Shared moderation

The minimum fee for each centre taking part in a shared moderation is £90.  The overall minimum fee of £320 must be reached together by all centres sharing the moderation.

 

Postal moderation

There is no minimum fee for entry into a postal moderation however there is an additional charge of £8 per centre for return of portfolios by registered mail.
