The games may be over but you can still celebrate with Arts Award Special Edition!  Why not experiment with sports photography or create your own event inspired by the ceremonies?  Download our Special Edition updates for full details on how to get your limited issue certificates.

     Just down the road from the Olympic Park, Lister Community School, Newham got students , writers and 300 primary school children to create poetry, plays and stories, then organised Lister’s own mini-Olympics, complete with circus, samba drumming and wonderful costumes!

 

Buckfastleigh Primary School near Dartmoor decided their sports gear could double up as as  as musical instruments for their Special Edition Explore project!

You can use any aspect of the 2012 Games to inspire your Arts Award, including sports journalism, broadcasting, photography, or the ceremonies.

Arts Award Special Edition is available at Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold level.  Young people should take part in activities which are clearly 'inspired by London 2012' in at least one part or unit.
