The Royal Shakespeare Company and Arts Award are piloting a way to recognise the approaches of Stand Up For Shakespeare through the Bronze Arts Award; it’s called the Shakespeare Challenge and it’s designed to offer young people inspirational and enjoyable ways of connecting with Shakespeare.
Ten schools have been selected to take part in the pilot and they will run Shakespeare-based activities to achieve the Bronze Arts Award. All schools involved in the pilot will go for moderation by March 2010 with an evaluation report published by the end of the summer term.
