Training

We’re delighted to announce we have four new training providers for London:

Southwark Education Arts Team, lead trainer Philippa Beagley

Tiger Monkey uk, lead trainer Emma Ghafur

The Association for the Development of Dance (ADD), lead trainer Yolanda Guns

Connections Communication Centre, lead trainer Sally Richards will be coming on board early in 2008

Have you got any questions about running the Arts Award? Want to find out more about training or talk to a moderator? How about seeing some sample portfolios? Come along to Arts Council London’s offices in Farringdon to talk to the team and meet other advisers over a drink

Q&A sessions planned

For those of you who want a more in depth look at running the award, we’re planning Q&A sessions next year (the dates will be on the website as soon as the details are confirmed). These events will be informal, giving you an opportunity to learn from people who have experience running the award in the following areas:

Working with Young Offenders – March

Running the Arts Award in Schools - April

After the Q&A session there will be lunch and the chance to meet other people running the Arts Award
