As part of Arts Award’s 10th birthday celebrations, young people are being offered the chance to ask questions directly to professional artists, performers, entrepreneurs and arts industry employers.
The ArtsAward10 Twitter Party which forms part of Arts Award Week (2-10 July) includes four live question & answer sessions. Young people will have the opportunity to tweet their questions to the panellists live on the day or submit their questions in advance.
Not only will they get top tips on creative careers, there will also be prizes on offer!
UK artist Lucy Spraggan a Q&A panellist, commented: ‘Any young person with a passion for the arts or interest in a creative career will want to join the ArtsAward10 Twitter Party. I can’t wait to find out what young creatives want to know and to share some of my experiences and advice with the next generation of artists!’.
Mozilla makers of Firefox, will be on hand to share their expertise. Sarah Allen, Events Manager and Mozilla Festival Producer said: ‘I’m excited to share my personal and professional growth as an event designer through my work in the arts sector, focused on championing interactive event experiences via exhibitions, the cinema, photography and in the digital realm’.

All young people aged 13-25 are invited to join the Party and can RSVP and submit questions at artsawardvoice.com/twitterparty On the day the action will take place at @ArtsAwardVoice using #OurCreativeFuture and #OCF
