Arts Award Welcome is a badge scheme announcing that your organisation supports the Arts Award and can help young people to achieve aspects of their award programme.
Organisations receive Arts Award Welcome centre status and benefit from access to the Arts Award community of professionals who mentor and support young people taking part in the Arts Award and young people themselves via the website and e-communication channels.
Arts Award Welcome centres support young people to achieve their Arts Award by offering activities, events or access to professionals. They offer young people expertise, information, opportunities or resources related to key strands of the Arts Award.
A short training course introduces Arts Award and helps organisations plan their Arts Award Welcome offer.
How do we get involved?
Book at least one member of staff onto Arts Award Welcome training, ideally members of your organisation with responsibility for marketing and/or education work.
